The pub is named after the 20th century inventor Sir Barnes Neville Wallis, who was notably one of the finest inventors of his generation, most famously for inventing the bouncing bomb as used in the Dambusters Raid over the Ruhr dams in World War 2, he was also at the forefront of airship and aircraft design.
We have extensive Barnes Wallis and Dambusters memorabilia adhering our walls.
The pub is now owned by Kieron Lockwood who is the chef and is run as a family business with his wife Kirsty.
We have a wide range of ever changing real ales, normally one a stout or mild, we have good selection of bottled European lagers, white beers and Hoegaarden on tap. We are listed in The CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2006, 2007 and 2008.
